Hoya:Hoya, Manchester’s leading forward-thinking club night and label, is set to host Room Three at Fabric this Friday with an unmissable roster of artists. Led by head honcho, Illum Sphere, Hoya brings to the party the musical talents of co-founder, Jonny Dub, Camden beatsmith Blue Daisy, first lady of the LuckyMe collective, Eclair FiFi, Jon K and one of my personal favourites right now, Eliphino.
In anticipation of the night, which includes rooms headed by some of today’s most talked about DJs – note Night Slugs’ L-Vis 1990, launching his debut album, Neon Dreams, Zombie Nation throwing down a live set in Room 1 and Bristol’s man of the moment, Julio Bashmore – Illum Sphere has put together a mix illustrating the Hoya family:
“I put together this little mix to give people an idea of what to expect from Hoya:Hoya. It features some personal favourites, some classics and some tunes the other residents play. We play so much stuff that it was impossible to get that across in half an hour, but hopefully you get the idea…”
